Why use the chelate trace elements?

1. There is a reason for soil hardening that a large number of using the phosphate fertilizer for a long time and phosphate ions combine with cations such as calcium and magnesium in the soil to form insoluble phosphate, which destroys the soil granular structure and causes soil harden. If use the chelate trace elements,it will avoid reacting with the    phosphate ion, sulphric ion and organic matter, etc.
2.  In terms of fertilizer efficiency, there are excessive phosphorus for most of domestic soil  and inorganic salts easily react with phosphate ion, sulphric ion and organic matter to form the insoluble matter. In order to increase the fertilizer efficiency, thus many people use the chelate trace elements.
3. In regard to the absorption rate, the absorption of the chelate trace element is far higher than inorganic salts’s absorption rate. It often requires a small amount to appear the obvious effect.
4. As regards the use,the chelate trace elements can use with a variety of fertilizers, adjuvants and growth regulator, However, it will not to reduce the effect of other products, which can absolutely soluble in water with no residue.

The selection of the chelatetrace elements:
There are many kinds of chelating agents. The common chelating agents are Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), Hydroxyl ethyl diamine triacetate (HEDTH), Diethyl triamine five acetic acid (DTPA), Ethylenediamine ortho phenol acetate ( EDDHA), etc.In addition,they include citric acid (CA), tartaric acid (TA), amino acid, humic acid, etc. Now there is the  newest chelating agent,which is more environmental .Nowadys, we can often see EDTA chelate trace elements, EDDHA iron, DTPA chelate trace elements ,CA trace elements and Amino acid chelate trace elements on the market.So how to choosethe proper one for you?Actually we can find by looking at the various packaging of the water soluble fertilizer on the plant protection fair , the most advantageous one is the EDTA chelate trace element.

Why do you choose EDTA chelate trace element?
1. Compared with the EDDHA, DTPA,EDTA chelate trace elements are cheaper ,and higher content. The trace elements of water soluble fertilizer reach 0.2% in the national standard. Therefore,the corresponding cost od EDTA is lower than other chelating agents..
2. About the stability, The difference between EDTA and EDDHA is not obvious.Most EDTA chelate trace elements is stable between pH4-8 .For EDTA Ca,it is pH2-9. EDDHA is PH 4.5 to 9.Other like citric acid, humic acid, amino acid is not better than EDTA, EDDHA and DTPA chelation on the stability. Therefore,. in strong alkaline soil, it is better to use EDDHA between pH8-9.At present ,soil acidification is relatively serious, so the best choice is the EDTA chelation trace elements.
